Ben is a London based songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ and his music is published worldwide by BMG Chrysalis. He scored his first Top 20 with “These Are The Days” which reached #11 in the UK singles chart, taken from his brother Jamie Cullum’s multi-platinum selling album Twenty-Something, which helped launch Jamie as the biggest selling UK jazz artist of all time. Ben’s writing has also featured on Jamie’s 2005 album Catching Tales and his most recent The Pursuit, which combined have now sold 5 million copies worldwide.
Recent co-writes have included Ed Sheeran, Will Young, Sway and hot new artists Katie Taylor, Ruby Goe, Project Alfie and Dee Freer. His early career saw him play bass for Dave Stewart on TFI Friday, briefly join Jamiroquai and compose music for various Nintendo video games. He also co-wrote and produced the music with legendary songwriter Cathy Dennis for one of MTV’s biggest ad campaigns (Swatch), and also Jamie Oliver’s hit TV series “Jamie Does” and “Must Be The Music” on Sky 1. Ben has also had his songs used in US cop drama “Unforgettable”, the Isabella Rossellini movie “Late Bloomers” and “One Tree Hill”.
